Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This policy governs how you may use the Identity Market platform, its API infrastructure, and any generated outputs. It applies to all users and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how you may use Identity Market, its API infrastructure, and any outputs generated through the Platform. This AUP applies to all users, including subscribers and creators, and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and API access without refund. To report a violation, contact security@identity-market.com.

1. Illegal Content

You may not use the Platform to generate, distribute, or facilitate any content that violates applicable local, national, or international law, including but not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualised depictions of minors.
  • Content that constitutes, facilitates, or promotes criminal activity, including fraud, money laundering, or cybercrime.
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights, including unauthorised reproduction of copyrighted material or use of trademarked identities.
  • Content designed to facilitate violence, terrorism, or incitement to hatred.

2. Harmful and Deceptive Content

The following uses are prohibited regardless of legality:

  • Non-consensual imagery: Generating realistic depictions of identifiable real individuals in sexual, degrading, or otherwise non-consensual contexts without documented consent from the depicted person.
  • Impersonation: Using Platform outputs to impersonate real people — including public figures, private individuals, or Platform staff — in a manner intended to deceive, defraud, or harm.
  • Fraudulent advertising: Creating fake endorsements, testimonials, or advertisements using AI-generated identities without clear disclosure that the content is AI-generated.
  • Disinformation: Producing synthetic media intended to deceive the public about real events, individuals, or organisations, or to interfere with democratic processes.

3. Harassment and Abuse

  • Targeting individuals: Using Platform outputs to harass, intimidate, bully, or harm specific individuals, including generating content designed to humiliate or threaten.
  • Coordinated campaigns: Operating coordinated inauthentic behaviour campaigns using AI-generated identities, including bot networks, sock puppet accounts, or influence operations.
  • Using generated content to stalk, monitor, or facilitate surveillance of individuals.

4. Platform Abuse

  • Scraping: Automated scraping of the Platform, its APIs, identity previews, metadata, or any content beyond your active API allocation.
  • Extracting model weights: Any attempt to extract, reconstruct, reverse-engineer, or otherwise obtain LoRA weights, model configurations, or other identity infrastructure components hosted on the Platform.
  • Sharing API keys: Distributing your API keys to third parties or using a single subscription to provide API access to multiple end users outside of approved enterprise arrangements.
  • Circumventing rate limits: Using technical means — including rotating accounts, proxies, or distributed request patterns — to circumvent tier-based rate limits.
  • Attempting to access identity configurations, generation infrastructure, or administrative functions without authorisation.

5. Model Abuse

  • Using generated outputs, API responses, or any Platform-derived data to train, fine-tune, distil, or otherwise develop a competing AI model, identity product, or image generation system is prohibited without prior written permission from Identity Market.
  • This restriction applies regardless of the intended commercial use of the resulting model and extends to indirect uses such as embedding Platform outputs in datasets licensed to third parties for AI training purposes.

Enforcement

Identity Market reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy. Confirmed violations may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and API access.
  • Forfeiture of any unused subscription time without refund.
  • Referral to law enforcement authorities where applicable.

To report a violation, contact security@identity-market.com. Reports are reviewed in confidence.
